Upon your arrival at Skardu Airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After checking in and settling down, we'll head out to the iconic Shangrila Resort (Lower Kachura Lake). Enjoy the stunning views of the pristine turquoise lake, surrounded by lush greenery and majestic mountains. You can indulge in boating (optional) or simply relax by the lakeside, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Later, we'll return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, we'll embark on an adventure to Upper Kachura Lake, a hidden gem known for its even more serene and untouched beauty. Enjoy a short hike or simply admire the crystal-clear waters and surrounding forests. In the afternoon, prepare to be amazed by the unique Katpana Cold Desert, where vast sand dunes meet the towering peaks of the Karakoram. Experience the surreal landscape and capture incredible photographs. Return to Skardu for dinner and overnight stay.

Today is dedicated to exploring the heart of Skardu. After breakfast, we'll visit the bustling Skardu Bazaar, where you can experience local life, shop for traditional handicrafts, and taste local delicacies. Afterwards, we'll ascend to Kharpocho Fort, perched on a hill overlooking the city. While parts of the fort are in ruins, it offers panoramic views of Skardu valley, the Indus River, and the surrounding mountains. Spend your evening enjoying the sunset from a scenic point. An exciting day awaits as we drive towards Khaplu Valley, often referred to as the "Land of Orchards." Our first stop will be the enchanting Manthoka Waterfall, a spectacular natural wonder cascading down lush cliffs. Enjoy the refreshing spray and capture its beauty. Continue to Khaplu, where you can visit the historic Khaplu Palace (Yabgo Palace), a beautifully restored royal residence offering insights into local heritage. Explore the charming town before returning to Skardu for the night.

After an early breakfast, we'll head towards the magnificent Deosai Plains National Park, one of the highest plateaus in the world. Known as the "Land of Giants," Deosai is famous for its vast expanses, wildflowers, and wildlife (including the Himalayan brown bear). Our highlight will be Sheosar Lake, a stunning emerald lake nestled amidst the plains, reflecting the surrounding peaks. Enjoy the raw wilderness before driving back to Skardu for dinner and overnight stay. (If Deosai is closed, an alternative excursion to Satpara Lake Dam and a local village visit can be arranged.)

Today, we visit the impressive Satpara Lake and Dam. This colossal dam has transformed the area and created a vast, beautiful reservoir. You can enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake with its distinctive island. Later, we'll have an opportunity to visit a local village near Skardu to experience the rural life and hospitality of the Balti people, gaining insights into their culture and traditions. Spend a relaxed evening, perhaps reflecting on your journey, and enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Skardu.

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute souvenir shopping or simply to relax.
