Payment
Typically, the price listed for our tours is all-inclusive. However, some tours may have optional add-ons or local taxes/fees not covered. Please check the ‘Inclusions’ and ‘Exclusions’ section on each tour’s detail page for precise information. Any additional, mandatory costs will be clearly stated beforehand.
While it’s not always mandatory to print a physical receipt, it’s highly recommended to have your booking confirmation accessible. You can either keep it on your mobile device (digital copy) or print it out as a backup. Your tour guide will typically have a manifest with your name on it, but having your confirmation ready can expedite the check-in process. Always refer to the specific instructions in your booking confirmation email for exact requirements.
The cost of a private tour varies significantly depending on several factors, including the destination, duration, number of participants, inclusions (e.g., meals, specific activities, private transport), and time of year. Since private tours are customized, we recommend contacting us directly with your specific requirements. Our team will then provide you with a personalized quote tailored to your preferences.
The items you need to bring will vary greatly based on the specific tour you’ve booked, its duration, the climate of the destination, and the activities involved. However, general recommendations often include comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, a hat, a refillable water bottle, personal medications, and a camera. For a precise packing list, please refer to the detailed itinerary or ‘What to Bring’ section on your chosen tour’s page or in your booking confirmation email.
Reservation
It is highly recommended to book your tour as far in advance as possible, especially for popular tours, peak travel seasons, or public holidays. This ensures availability and allows you to secure your preferred dates. For some tours, booking at least 2-3 months ahead is advisable, while for others, a few weeks might suffice. Last-minute bookings are subject to availability.
Yes, you can absolutely book a tour on behalf of someone else. During the booking process, you will typically be asked to provide the participant’s name(s) and other necessary details. Please ensure all information is accurate to avoid any issues during check-in or the tour itself.
When making a reservation, you will generally need to provide your full name, contact information (email and phone number), the number of participants, preferred tour date(s), and any specific requests or dietary restrictions. For some international tours, passport details might be required. All information collected is for booking purposes and maintained with strict privacy.
Yes, immediately after successfully completing your booking and payment, you will receive an email confirmation. This email will contain all your tour details, booking reference number, meeting points, what to bring, and any specific instructions. Please check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it in your inbox within a few minutes.
If you don’t receive your booking confirmation email within a few minutes of completing your reservation, please first check your spam or junk mail folders. If it’s still not there, please contact our customer support team immediately with your booking details (e.g., date of booking, tour name, name used for booking), and we will gladly resend it or help troubleshoot the issue.
Weather
Our tours are generally designed to operate in various weather conditions. However, in cases of extreme or unsafe weather (e.g., severe storms, heavy snow that makes travel unsafe), we prioritize your safety. If a tour needs to be cancelled or rescheduled due to adverse weather, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternative dates, a different tour, or a full refund, according to our cancellation policy.
Light rain typically does not cause a tour cancellation. Many of our tours are equipped to handle moderate rain, and guides will often provide rain ponchos if necessary. However, if heavy, persistent rain or thunderstorms pose a safety risk, the tour may be altered, rescheduled, or cancelled. We recommend checking the local weather forecast before your tour and bringing appropriate rain gear if needed.
Minor weather changes usually don’t affect tour activities significantly. For instance, cloudy skies or a light drizzle might not alter an outdoor activity. However, extreme weather like heavy rain, strong winds, or very high temperatures could lead to adjustments in the itinerary, such as substituting an outdoor activity for an indoor one, or modifying the duration of certain segments for your comfort and safety. Your guide will keep you informed of any such changes.
